Pre-Move, Move and Post-Move Activities
Arrow Moving & Storage will meet with designated department representatives, as well as all staff (if requested) to address questions and concerns, and to review moving and packing instructions. At that time we will distribute information regarding packing, projected move dates, and the like. Typically, many questions are asked regarding the overall move picture, and these meetings tend to be extremely valuable to the participating members that are contributing to a successful move. A facility blue print for destination will be helpful to both the movers and your employees so everything gets placed and labeled properly. Once all the information is presented a material delivery will occur pending on who is packing all the items in the office. Placards and directional signs will be placed in high traffic areas to help guide the movers to the proper location.
 On the actual relocation day or days a pre-move walk through will be performed by the crew in order to check the designated equipment and crew list and ensure everything has been accounted for. They will recheck origin and destination accesses and meet the key contact for the move. Once the walk through is complete the crew will then prepare the facility for the move. This entails floor, elevator, and wall protection to minimize property damage. Next begin the loading and delivery stages which invlove removing, padding, loading, stacking, and delivering all items to the new location.
When each phase of the job is completed a final walkthrough will be performed with your designated representative and the crew supervisors to make sure everything has been moved into its proper place. Materials not used will be picked-up and credited (100%) to the company. Once your staff has completed the unpacking of all items, Arrow Moving & Storage will pick-up all the boxes. Additionally, a pamphlet containing this information will be handed out during the pre-move phase and meetings. |
